About Long Branch Housing Authority

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV)/Section 8 and Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASA) provides rental subsidy to approximately 735 eligible low-income families, seniors, persons with disabilities and veterans. The tenant may choose housing in the private market ranging from apartments, duplexes or single-family homes. Under the Housing Choice Voucher Program, the tenant is responsible for paying thirty (30%) percentage of their gross monthly income towards rent.

The mission of the City of Long Branch Housing Authority is to ethically move toward success through the creation of innovative housing and business initiatives. In utilizing a comprehensive Management Plan, the Agency will introduce tangible alternatives when providing sustainable housing, economic development and self sufficiency opportunities to the immediate community and State of New Jersey.
